Maxinity (‘Maxinity’, ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘our’) is continuously monitoring its software in accordance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and is committed to enhancing user experience. Our actions on accessibility are ongoing and will continue to develop with every new version of Maxcourse which is released.
Maxinity takes the following measures to ensure we are doing what we can to improve and recognise user accessibility:
Maxcourse is assessed against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, which define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. The conformance levels defined by the guidelines are Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Based on the most recent accessibility evaluation, Maxcourse is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This means that while many of the success criteria at Level AA are met, there are some criteria that are not fully satisfied across all areas of the product.
Where relevant, earlier versions of WCAG (including WCAG 2.0 and 2.1) may also be referenced within supporting accessibility documentation to provide additional context.
We provide our clients who request the Voluntary Product Template (VPAT) a full understanding of the level to which Maxcourse meets the given guidelines at each level and provides transparency of what further actions are needed to be taken.
Maxcourse software is a site in which our clients can upload their own supporting documentation and, as data processors we neither own their data or any uploaded documentation. Therefore, any uploaded documentation that does not support WCAG guidelines is the responsibility of the data owners and does not register against this following report.
The online Maxcourse help documentation is not considered part of the core content and functionality of this site and has not been evaluated within this assessment.
All feedback is crucial to developing and enhancing our product and as such we welcome any feedback from the site users. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of Maxcourse websites, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.
Known limitations for Maxcourse websites:
Maxcourse does not currently support certain accessibility features that are defined at WCAG Level AAA, including user control over line spacing, character width, foreground and background colours, and resizing of content without the use of assistive technologies. These requirements are not part of the WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance target.
Maxinity has assessed the accessibility of Maxcourse through an internal evaluation.
