Social Value Statement
Maxinity Software Limited (Maxinity) is committed to delivering meaningful social value alongside the high-quality healthcare education software services it provides to public sector and professional organisations. As a specialist UK-based software company supporting the delivery, assessment and administration of healthcare education, we recognise that our role extends beyond technical performance. We have a responsibility to ensure that the way we operate, employ people, engage suppliers and manage our environmental impact contributes positively to society and aligns with the expectations of public sector buyers under the Social Value Model.
Our approach to social value is grounded in existing practice and evidence rather than aspirational statements. Across our workforce, operations and supply chain, Maxinity already demonstrates proportionate, practical actions that support equal opportunity, economic inclusion, environmental responsibility and wellbeing. These actions are embedded into our policies, working practices and organisational culture, ensuring that social value is delivered as part of day-to-day business activity rather than as a standalone or reactive exercise.
In terms of equal opportunity, Maxinity has established inclusive employment practices that reduce barriers to participation and progression. Flexible working arrangements, including part-time roles, flexitime and hybrid working, are widely used across the organisation and support individuals with caring responsibilities, health needs or differing personal circumstances. These practices are reinforced through clear equality, inclusion and ethical employment policies, ensuring fair treatment and consistency across the workforce. Our commitment to accessibility is also reflected in the design of our digital platforms, which are developed with usability and recognised accessibility standards in mind, supporting inclusive access for users and stakeholders.
Maxinity also contributes to tackling economic inequality through fair employment practices, skills development and support for local and SME economies. We provide paid internship opportunities that support early-career entry into the digital and healthcare education technology sector, helping individuals build relevant skills and improve long-term employability. We engage staff under clear contractual terms, apply prompt payment practices, and work with local and small suppliers where appropriate, supporting economic resilience and local value creation.
Environmental responsibility is another key component of our existing social value activity. As a technology-led organisation, we focus on the most material sources of our environmental impact, including energy use, digital infrastructure and travel. Maxinity has undertaken carbon reporting and developed a Carbon Reduction Plan to understand and manage emissions over time. Our support of flexible and hybrid working reduces commuting and travel-related emissions, while practical measures within our office environment support waste reduction and resource efficiency. Sustainability considerations are also incorporated into supplier selection and review processes, supporting responsible procurement.
Wellbeing underpins our ability to deliver sustainable, high-quality services. Maxinity provides structured wellbeing support through a health and wellbeing benefits package, ergonomic workplace assessments and equipment, flexible working practices and a supportive organisational culture. Team-building activities, regular breaks and open dialogue around wellbeing help promote positive mental health, inclusion and long-term productivity.
Maxinity is committed to building on this existing foundation. We will continue to strengthen how we measure, report and improve our social value performance, ensuring alignment with evolving public sector priorities and policy requirements. Through continuous improvement, collaboration with buyers and stakeholders, and a clear focus on proportionate delivery, Maxinity is committed to meeting and enhancing its social value contribution across all contracts and communities it serves.
